Brief Background on Tujijenge Uganda

Tujijenge Uganda (TU) an MFI registered as a not for profit Company number 104497 limited by Guarantee, having its address at Busia Plot 4D Customs Road, Uganda
Tujijenge Uganda is a micro-finance company limited by guarantee that started its operations in February 2009. Tujijenge aims at providing micro-finance services including credit and savings. In the first three years of operation Tujijenge Uganda will concentrate its activities in eastern Uganda; however, the organization intends to expand its operations to other parts of the country.
Tujijenge Uganda customers are both men and women who are actively engaged in Agricultural activities.

Currently, Tujijenge Uganda has two Branches i.e. Busia and Soroti. The Soroti Branch covers 4 districts of Soroti, Katakwi, Amuria and Serere.

Tujijenge Uganda Mission is "To improve the lives of families in Uganda through microfinance" while it's Vision is "To be the preferred MFI through our diverse product offering aimed at having happy clients"

Ownership
Tujijenge Uganda is a company limited by guarantee owned by Tujijenge Afrika.
Its top most governing body is the Board of Directors that meets at least once every quarter. The Board provides strategic direction to the management of Tujijenge Uganda.
